The northern end of Öland, which is always at the top of the sunshine tables, has some of the longest and finest sandy beaches on the island. This is where of Sonja's camping site and chalet park is located - a peaceful, relaxing five-star family camping site with something for everyone, young or old.

The camping site features large grassy areas bordered by mature trees and bushes. Near the reception, there is a pizzeria, fast-food takeaway and café, as well as a mini-market and two swimming pools, one of which is a small toddlers' pool.

There are three service blocks. The central building has a dedicated children’s service room, with showers and small car-shaped bath tubs ideal for our youngest guests. Children under 10 can use the showers free of charge. There is also a launderette, kitchen facilities, TV-room and games room. All three service blocks have vegetable preparation areas, WCs and showers. In addition, there are four family rooms with shower and WC. One of these rooms has facilities for wheelchair users.

There is plenty of choice for walkers and cyclists in the immediate vicinity of the camping site. Local attractions include mature forests, lovely waterfront meadows and a bird conservation area. A little further afield, but still within easy reach of the camping site, you can enjoy the popular visitor attractions of Trollskogen forest, the Thujabeståndet, Skäftekärr with its Iron Age village and the limestone pillars of Byrum. And why not visit us in the spring, when the orchids are in full bloom and the birds are returning for the summer, or in the autumn when the sea is still warm and the wild berries are ripe for the picking.

The reception is open 08.00-22.00 from 5 June to 15 August. On other dates, opening hours are restricted. For more information, please call us or look out for notices at reception.
The restaurant is open 12,00-22.00 from 19 June to 15 August.
